Must Man Professional is a men's hair, beard and body range designed and manufactured in Quebec and developed with professional barbers and hair-care experts. It is deliberately short: one protein-based wash that covers hair, beard and body, three stylers rated on a hold-factor scale, a beard oil, a clear shaving gel, an aluminum-free deodorant and a peach wood comb. Can I really wash my hair, beard and body with one bottle?
That is exactly what Triple Duty is formulated for, and the protein base is why it holds up rather than being a shampoo with a claim on the label. Keratin, wheat protein and soy protein cleanse gently and hydrate, which is what a beard and the facial skin under it need; harsh detergents are what leave both feeling tight. Sizes: 50 ml, 250 ml and a 1 L back-bar litre.
What is the hold factor scale?
It is Must Man's own hold rating across its styling range, and it is only meaningful inside the brand. Factor 4 (Take Control) is the strongest the range goes; factor 3 (Power Flex) sits deliberately below it so you have a flexible option. Do not try to map the numbers onto another brand's scale.
Why is the shaving gel transparent?
Because a white foam covers the line you are trying to cut. Polished is 100% transparent and non-foaming so neck lines, cheek lines and beard outlines stay visible the entire time you are shaving them — that is what makes it a barber's gel rather than a bathroom one. The dense texture still cushions against nicks and improves razor glide, with allantoin and vitamin E soothing during and after.
Does beard oil actually stop the itching?
It treats the cause, which is dry facial skin rather than the beard hair. The Original is a 96% natural blend of sweet almond, grapeseed, castor and jojoba oils with vitamin E; grapeseed is what lets it absorb in seconds instead of leaving a film. Apply three to five drops to a clean, towel-dried beard and work it in from the skin outward, then comb through. It will not make a patchy beard grow in — Must Man makes no such claim.
Is Cool Down an antiperspirant?
No, and that is deliberate. It is a deodorant formulated without aluminum salts and without alcohol: it absorbs moisture and neutralises odour rather than plugging the sweat glands. That is why it does not sting freshly shaved skin, does not leave white streaks on a dark shirt, and does not create the yellow build-up aluminum antiperspirants leave on collars. If your requirement is to stop sweating rather than to stop smelling, this is not that product.
Why a wooden comb?
Two practical reasons. Moulded plastic charges up as it moves through dry hair, so every stroke leaves flyaways — peach wood does not. And wood is a poor conductor, so you can comb a section through while the dryer is on it without heat travelling down the teeth into the hair. The dual fine-and-wide tooth spacing covers detangling out of the shower and parting at the mirror, and the teeth double as a scalp massager. $11.94.
